Teen Skills Program - Self-understanding and Effective Communication
About the program:
Many teenagers suffer from a lack of understanding from their parents, which leads to internal and external conflicts that may affect their personalities and behavior. This course aims to enable teenagers to understand themselves and communicate effectively with others, and to provide them with skills that help them deal with the psychological and social changes during this sensitive stage.
Who is this program for?
Adolescents aged 11 to 19 years, divided into two groups (11-14 years) and (15-19 years).
Parents who want to understand their teens better.
Teachers and educators interested in developing communication skills with adolescents.
Course content:
– First level: Understand yourself and understand your family
Why does a teenager feel misunderstood?
How does parental interaction affect adolescent behavior?
How to build bridges of communication between a teenager and his family.
– The second level: puberty and dealing with the opposite sex
Psychological and physical changes in adolescence.
How to deal with feelings and attraction to the opposite sex in a healthy way.
Divide the sessions into two groups (a group for boys with a trainer, and a group for girls with a trainer).
-Third level: Life skills for teenagers
Effective communication skills.
Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
How to adapt to changes and develop oneself.
Course details:
-Number of lectures: 3 levels – each level consists of two lectures
-Duration of each lecture: two and a half hours
